Canola Crushing Plant
Location: Regina, SK
This project is a 3,500 M/day green field canola processing plant. Graham was engaged by Cargill August 27, 2021, in a CM contract to work within an integrated Project Management Team with Cargill, Jacobs Engineering, and other stakeholders. The facility will be very similar to Cargill’s existing canola processing plant in Camrose, Alberta.
The construction management scope during the Pre-Construction phase of the Contract included deliverables such as constructability reviews, an overall Construction Execution Plan, an Integrated Schedule, and various sub-plans such as a Resources, Plan, Procurement Plan, HSE and Quality Plans, and a Project Controls Plan. Additionally, a budgetary guaranteed maximum price was developed for Cargill’s use in reviewing and approval of the project by the Cargill Board.
During the construction phase, Graham is acting as construction manager and will be responsible for overall execution and management of the project which includes, but is not limited to, management of Safety, Procurement, Schedule, Cost, and Subcontractors. Graham will be self-executing the construction of a significant portion of direct scope work, including concrete, structural steel erection, mechanical equipment installation, piping, electrical, and instrumentation.
