Bearspaw Water Treatment Plant – Stage 1 Filter Pipe Gallery Upgrades

The Bearspaw Water Treatment Plant (WTP) was constructed in 1972 and is one of the two plants that provides the residents of Calgary with clean drinking water.

The Stage 1 – Filter Pipe Gallery Upgrades project was constructed within the current Bearspaw Water Treatment Facility and included major upgrades to the Stage 1 Filters as well as replacement of both stage 1 & 2 Filter distributed control systems. As General Contractor, Graham was responsible for new piping, process valves/actuators, instrumentation, access grating/platforms, water quality monitoring stations, lighting, loading dock, and HVAC System.
