Patriot Awards

December 9, 2021

US Army National Guard member Trent Bottolfsen has been Graham’s Operations Accountant in Omaha, Nebraska since November 2020 and has been a member of 189th Transportation Company in the US Army National Guard since 2010. Trent nominated each of his supervisors, Assistant Regional Operations Controller Matt Hibbs, and District Manager David Rexin for the Patriot Award, which recognizes supervisors and bosses of a Guardsman or Reservist who go above and beyond to support their employees’ commitment to military service and to acknowledge the sacrifices they make in employing members of the Army National Guard or Army Reserve. We are honored to announce both Matt and David have received this prestigious award from the US Department of Defense.

“David Rexin and Matt Hibbs have never wavered in supporting my military service,” said Trent Bottolfsen. “Each one of them has made me feel proud of my commitment and never like it was a burden, even though I know there are additional challenges that come with employing a soldier. They have set the bar very high. I am extremely grateful to have these two leading our team. There are no two people more worthy of this award than David and Matt, and I am honored for the opportunity to give them the recognition they deserve.”

The awards were presented on December 2, 2021, at Graham’s Omaha office by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) organization of the US Department of Defense, with a special appearance to show his appreciation from Brigadier General Gary Roper: Commander of the Land Component Command of the Nebraska National Guard.

Our sincere thanks to Trent for his unwavering service, and to David and Matt for their on-going support of Trent.
