Graham Receives Seven Seals Award

March 23, 2022

On March 15, 2022, The US Department of Defense’s (DOD) Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) presented the prestigious Seven Seals Award to Graham for providing meritorious and exemplary leadership and initiative in support of those who serve in the United States Army National Guard and Reserve. The Seven Seals Award is named after the seven Reserve Components that ESGR serves, represented directly on the award itself, the Army National Guard, Army Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve, Navy Reserve, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, and the Coast Guard Reserve.

In December 2021, Assistant Regional Operations Controller Matt Hibbs, and District Manager David Rexin, were presented the DOD’s Patriot Award, nominated by Trent Bottolfsen, Operations Accountant in Omaha, NE, and US Army National Guard service member of the 189th Transportation Company. The Patriot Award recognized Matt and David for going above and beyond to support Trent’s commitment to military service in the Army National Guard.

Wanting to specifically recognize Graham, Trent submitted a third nomination, this time directly to the ESGR Executive Committee for consideration of the Seven Seals Award. Upon review, Graham was chosen for the distinguished honor. The Seven Seals Award is regarded as the broadest and most inclusive ESGR award and is presented at the discretion of the State Chair or by ESGR senior leadership. The Seven Seals Award is presented in recognition of significant individual or organizational achievement, initiative, or support that promotes and supports the ESGR mission.

“I have had nothing but positive experiences before leaving and after returning from any military duty, and there has never been any sense that my service could ever hinder my career here at Graham. This award is not just for the leadership in the Omaha office, it’s about every employee making Graham such a great place to work, creating this positive environment surrounding my service. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be able to give our team and our company this well-deserved recognition for their support to me as a soldier. I cannot say thank you enough.”- Trent Bottolfsen

Trent’s commanding officer presiding over the 189th Transportation Company, Captain Rachel Sullivan, made it a priority to take part in the ceremony and personally thanked Graham for their unwavering commitment to the US Military, specifically a soldier within her command, and to recognize the sacrifices companies like Graham make to enable to the success of our military readiness and operations.

Our sincere gratitude to Trent for his unwavering service to his country.
