Bridge overMarsh River

This project involved the construction of a new three-span steel I-girder bridge over Marsh River, and new realigned road embankments on PTH 23 in the Municipality of Morris, Manitoba. The road embankment involved modified granular fill and temporary soil surcharge material. Bridge-related items including expansion joints, hot poured rubberized asphalt waterproofing, bituminous pavement on the bridge deck, transition slabs, and approach slabs were completed in 2018, and the completion of the bridge and opening of the new road took place in July, 2019.
