WSU Intercollegiate Center for Nursing

The construction of the 87,000 sqft. Nursing Building presented unique challenges due to its proximity to the bustling Spokane Falls Boulevard. This project followed a GC/CM fast-track approach, which required efficient management of three separate contracts with WSU to ensure the desired project schedule was maintained.

To expedite the construction process, strategic early bid packaging was implemented, allowing for certain aspects of the project to be bid and awarded in advance. This approach helped streamline the construction timeline and facilitate efficient progress. Effective schedule management was also crucial to the project’s success, considering the fast-track nature of the construction. The project team meticulously coordinated and tracked the various tasks and milestones to ensure timely completion.
