University District VIP Cineplex Interior Fit-Out

The University District VIP Cineplex Interior Fit-Out was the completion of 5 unique VIP Cinemas and restaurant/bar in Northwest Calgary. The theatre provides a unique 18+ experience for movie goers including in-seat food and beverage. The theatres are located in the University District Block 23 building, for which Graham completed the base building construction. Graham was able to coordinate closely between base building and tenant improvement scopes, providing unique mutual benefit to all stakeholders.

The project involved a complex FF&E component, which Graham was responsible for coordinating and incorporating seamlessly with base building provisions. Graham assisted Cineplex in implementing advancements in seating design and audio-visual technology, which changed throughout the course of construction. Graham delivered the project on time concurrent with base building completion, allowing for a period of staff onboarding and training after building commissioning. Cineplex was able to open their doors to the public as planned in November 2021.
