Trafalgar Park Revitalization

In Oakville, Graham oversaw the complete renovation of the pre-existing 65,500-square-foot Oakville Arena, preserving the original building’s distinctive wooden trusses while updating its rink system and change rooms. An addition was built, adding an indoor-running track, a senior’s centre, administrative offices, a full-sized gymnasium, a fitness centre, and public meeting rooms. Outdoors, a double tennis court converts into an ice rink for winter use. A new 12,000-square-foot educational hub on the corner of Kerr and Rebecca Street—called the ‘fire education and heritage room’—contextualizes the site’s local firefighting heritage into a museum exhibition. This project received LEED Silver certification.
