Town of Rosthern Sewage Pumping Station

The project consisted of the construction of a new sewage pumping station, Pump House No. 1 and an upgrade / modification to the existing Pumping Station No. 2. Pump House No.1 is primarily a concrete structure approximately 7 meters below grade, with a masonry building at surface level. The new building includes new washrooms adjacent to the existing park. Once construction of Pump House No. 1 was completed, a temporary bypass was installed to allow for commissioning and testing of the new facility. When the new Pump House No.1 was fully operational, the bypass was removed and the existing building / pump house was then demolished.

The second portion of the project consisted of minor modifications to the existing Pumping Station No.2, including the tie-in of a new service line and new mechanical and electrical equipment.
