The Spirit of Canstruction Edmonton Continues

April 1, 2020

For years, Graham has participated in Canstruction Edmonton, a not for profit event that brings together architects, engineers, designers, contractors and the community in general to design and build sculptures made of cans of food. The finished products are judged in categories such as Best Original Design, Best Use of Labels, Best Meal and Structural Ingenuity. After the event, all food items are donated to the Edmonton Food Bank.

Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Canstruction event was cancelled. Graham realizes that this is going to be an extremely tough year for many families, and the Food Bank will be counting on donations. With that in mind, Graham has decided to take the $500 entry fee and donate it to the Edmonton Food Bank. Many charitable organizations have cancelled events they rely on to fund the important services they offer to the community. While we weather the COVID-19 storm, we’re proud to continue to support these organizations where we can.
