Spadina Lift Station Replacement
Location: Saskatoon, SK
This project consists of construction of a new sewage lift station to replace the existing station. The new station will require temporary shoring to allow for 14m deep excavation for new concrete foundations. The building itself will sit upon an approximate 4-storey basement that will house three 215hp pumps that will lift sewage from a wet well and up a new HDPE force-main that will tie into existing manholes and existing infrastructure. The above ground building consists of concrete columns and beams with masonry infill, brick veneer, and metal roof. This will house the mechanical, electrical and generator room. The station will have a capacity of 1650L/s with 50% redundancy.
