SCH Maintenance Facility

The SCH Maintenance Facility involved the construction of a new office building and new maintenance building to provide the 30-year maintenance requirements for the Regina Bypass. The 929 m² conventional steel frame office building will house the SCH administration. The 1,254 m² maintenance building attached to the office is are-engineered metal building complete with 4 maintenance bays and 1 wash bay for the fleet. It is equipped with interior overhead cranes, pressure washer system with complete reclaim reuse, in-floor heat, make up air units and electrical lighting and power. The project also required a 1,718 m² pre-engineered metal salt storage building with all primary and secondary members fully galvanized to reduce corrosion from the salt. Site works included 11,861 m² of asphalt paving and 2,346 m² of heavy duty granular paving.
