River Rock Conference Centre Casino Expansion and Hotel
Location: Richmond, British Columbia
Graham’s work at the River Rock Casino Resort included three phases of expansion involving renovations and new additions. All work was completed while the resort facility remained in full operation. Fire-rated access corridors were erected adjacent to the areas of work to maintain public access to operational areas of the facility in order to retain the hotel’s 5 Diamond Rating.
The projects included a major renovation to convert the existing pub into a conference centre, a building expansion and a new five-storey luxury hotel on top of the existing and fully operational parkade. The conference conversion was comprised of a 20,000 square foot addition to the north side of the main building, extensive updates to the existing facilities including casino gaming areas, theatre, banquet hall and renovations to the main entrance featuring two new spiral escalators. Graham was able to complete and turn over the hotel to the Owner almost two months ahead of schedule.
