PharmaChem Sunrise API Facility

Graham’s role in Project Sunrise was to provide general oversite by representing PharmaChem Technologies in a construction capacity. Graham managed the day-to-day construction activities, answered general queries from the contractors and provided constructability support for design updates. Located on the island of Grand Bahama, Sunrise is very similar to other projects completed by Graham, with the exception that this world class facility is much larger in scale and complexity. The facility 80,000 square foot concrete building structure backs against PharmaChem’s existing plant productions and includes process mechanical, electrical and control systems used to manufacture a wide range of medicines supplied across the globe.

This highly complex, multi-discipline project was completed during the pandemic and because of its remote location, it carried additional burdens not typical to other projects – all of which were overcome leading to a successful outcome during a difficult time.
