Continued support by Graham for Calgary Meals on Wheels

December 5, 2022

On Tuesday, November 29, 2022 our Calgary team was extra busy helping with Calgary Meals on Wheels’ (CMOW) GivingTuesday. This national event encourages community philanthropy amid the busy consumer season.

We had a total of 10 Graham employee volunteers deliver meals to CMOW clients across the city! In addition to volunteering, Graham also sponsored CMOW Annual Day of Giving (for the fourth consecutive year), matching donations from the day up to $10,000.

The tremendous generosity of Calgarians came forth as donations on this day surpassed CMOW’s goal of $20,000. With Graham matching donations, over $31,185 was raised in a single day! This means CMOW can provide 6,000 subsidized meals to vulnerable Calgarians, or feed kids at 12 schools for three months!

We’re honoured to continue partnerships with organizations like Calgary Meals on Wheels, making a positive impact in our communities.
