Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre – Interior Fit-Out
Location: Kelowna, British Columbia
The Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre was built to stimulate the revitalization of Kelowna’s downtown core and offers a range of community, public health and administrative services including mental health, seniors’ mental health, eating disorder clinic, community ambulatory treatment clinic, and workplace health and safety.
Graham was able to seamlessly incorporate the Tenant Improvement scope of work into the sequence of construction without drastically extending the substantial completion and building hand over to BentallGreenOak. As a result, the tenant – Interior Health – was able to move into the facility 4 months ahead of their projected schedule.
The Tenant Improvement portion of the contract included the fit-out of 123,000 sq. ft. of shelled space which included of 30,000 sq. ft. of clinical office space and 93,000 sq. ft. of open office work areas, break out rooms, conference rooms and circulation space for staff use. The clinical space has capacity to treat upwards of 500 patients per day and provide working space for over 800 IHA employees.
Graham also completed the Tenant Improvement work for the YMCA.
