Keephills 3 Power – Site Prep

The Site Preparation project included the demolition of existing foundations and buildings, mass excavation for the Power Island Foundation, common fill and granular placement required for site grading, site drainage, the construction of access roads and laydown areas, the construction of a storm water pond and a new storm sewer system, site grading for the Coal Handling Facility, and the construction of an ash haul road. This prepared the site for future development.
