The first week in May is a busy one in the construction industry. Not only is the weather improving in most areas making it easier to perform many tasks, it is also both Construction Safety Week and North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week.
Construction Safety Week is a week-long, annual event where the industry, clients and business partners recommit to sending every worker home safe each day. The goal of NAOSH week is to focus the attention of employers, employees, partners, and the public on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home and in the community.
Safety is core value at Graham and we are proud to be an Established Member of Construction Safety Week. This first week of May, we reaffirm our on-going commitment to upholding our high safety standards, ensuring the health and wellness of our people and safeguarding the communities in which they live and work.
