Great Plains Recreation Centre

Location: Calgary, AB

The Great Plains Recreation Centre included the construction of two indoor ice rinks and ancillary facilities inlcuding a proshop, eating facility, studios, classrooms, meeting spaces, and both large and small rooms to be used as fitness centres. The 84,905-square-feet building is designed for the future addition of two more rinks. Graham aided in the design process for the exterior walls and value engineered them to require less structural steel, thereby reducing the project cost.
