Cory Red Product Expansion

Location: Saskatoon, SK

Graham’s work consisted of a prime mechanical, civil, piping and site services contract for the work related to the 1.8 million-tonne-per-year expansion of the Cory Potash Red product mine. Civil work included the supply and installation of all concrete works for the new compaction plant, wet mill, ore load-out, and miscellaneous upgrades in the existing white mill.

In addition, there was the design-build of a 10,405 m2 product storage warehouse, constructed with concrete foundations and buttress works, pre-cast wall panels and a wooden arched laminated glulam structure, as well as the excavation, supply and installation of a 213-metre concrete reclaim tunnel. It is anticipated that 15,000 m3 of concrete and 9,000 m3 of fillcrete will be poured in this project.
