Amazon YXX2 Fulfillment Centre

The 450,000 sq. ft. Amazon YXX2 facility will create over 700 full-time jobs and will be used to fulfill items such as books, toys, small electronics, and home goods. The facility is Amazon’s first robotics fulfillment centre in British Columbia with intent to meet growing customer demand and allow for faster delivery times.

This tenant improvement project involved the renovation of an existing warehouse space and included the demolition of three existing offices spaces and the warehouse demising walls; slab remediation of the robotics field to achieve a “super flat” slab; 40,000 sq. ft. new office space fit out; 52 new dock levelers; new TPO roof; 48 new RTU’s and $1.5 million in exterior improvements.
