Amazon DCG1

Location: Calgary, AB

This project consisted of the conversion of a 60-year-old warehouse into a new delivery station to service the downtown core. The facility can distribute 12,000 packages per day.

The renovations included asbestos abatement, demolition of existing office spaces, roof replacement and repair of 200 existing roof joists, exterior cladding repairs, insulation replacement and masonry repairs, new mechanical and electrical (including upgraded lighting, heating, and ventilation throughout), and construction of new offices. This project also included a new parking lot and loading area (with new dock equipment and building access/egress ramp), a new transformer, and construction of a new remote parking lot.

Despite an increase to the original project scope, Graham was able to deliver the project to the client on the same handover date as initially set.
