All Nation’s Healing Hospital Helipad Construction

This project consisted of the layout, excavation, supply and placement of compacted granular, reinforcing steel, concrete helipad slab, concrete walkway, grading of existing site for drainage, landscaping of disturbed grade and a new fence. Strict dimensional and locational tolerances were required to comply with Transport Canada regulations. The owner supplied specialized lighting and control equipment for the helipad as well as a windsock that was installed through this contract. Programming of the controller and testing was also completed in this contract. Tall adjacent structures such as light posts were painted with reflective paint, and the standard helicopter “H” was painted on the helipad surface. Transport Canada inspection was completed with no deficiencies and the helipad was put into service.
