Affinity Place (Estevan Arena & Convention Centre)

Affinity Place (Estevan Arena & Convention Centre) consisted of a 9,754 sq. m (105,000 sq. ft.) arena addition to the existing Souris Valley Leisure and Aquatic Centre.

Features include an NHL regulation ice surface, 2,000 fixed seats, 192 box seats, 400 standing reserved, as well as a heat recovery system on the ice plant used to heat the addition and existing facility. Also included is a large walking track, retail space, pro shop, lounge, and commercial kitchen/concession area.

Graham was involved with the project from the outset of design. We completed updated budgeting throughout the design phase, presented several constructability ideas, and worked with the designers to help utilize cost-effective options in several areas of construction.
