Tsawwassen Commons

Location: Tsawwassen, British Columbia

This project involved 5 phases of construction of a new power centre in Tsawwassen with 14 separate buildings. This is a strip mall including various tenant fit outs as well as parking areas.

Phase one of the project began in June 2015 and it consisted of 3 separate buildings. Building B, standalone outfit, for Rona. Pad 1 was also a standalone outfit for Nando’s Chicken. Building D-O consisted of 12 CRU Units. Graham completed a tenant fit out in CRU F as part of this contract, and we also completed all site works including underground sanitation / water and all landscaping. Graham self-performed the formwork scope as well.

Subsequent phases added 11 more buildings, equivalent to 280,00 sq. ft. of single-storey retail spaces including a Shell Gas Station, and additional fit outs for PetSmart, Mark’s, Home Sense, Staples and Kal Tire; multiple CRUs and civil and landscape work.

With the presence of these reputable tenants, this retail complex is already a successful shopping destination in Tsawwassen.
